  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Found a dealer with four 2012 Signatures in stock, in upstate New York, right in the middle of the snow belt. They are well over 100 miles from me. Cars have been in stock a loooong time. They also a 2011 CPO in stock since last Sept. asking 40K They are asking for an offer on a new 2012 model.

I'm a bit concerned about valet service, since the nearest dealer to my home is 80 miles away? Also, wondering if these cars are really that bad in the snow? I don't know what to offer. I won't pay 40K for CPO 2011, since I suspect they would low ball my trade. ( CPO 2010 Cadillac CTS Premium AWD Sportswagon, all the bells and whistles, at 34k on the odo).

What is a really good deal on a 2012? Should I wait for 2014 and see if I can get a 2012 really cheap?

Don't know what CPO means, but they say you can not get valet service if dealer is over 100 miles, which to me is a big deal. I got a 2012 sig last year for $55K. I think you can get them closer to 50K, I didn't deal much.

You will NOT be disappointed, it is a great car. I drove a 7 car for 16 years and this is not a tight as a 7 car, but for the 30K more they wanted for a new 7 car, I'll buy a pick up truck.

Yeah, I hear you. The valet service is a VERY big deal to me. CPO refers to certified used and no valet service is offered on these cars. That is why you can buy a certified 2011 Sig with less than 10,000 miles for less than 40K. So, a buyer would have the balance of the new car warranty and the ten year drive train, but no valet service.
I was offered a very good price on a NEW 2012, but the devil is in the details. No firm offer on my trade yet. Dealer says he will valet my car over 100 miles.. Well. maybe. Nothing in writing yet. I sent an inquiry to the Hyundai Equus service site asking if the nearest (non-selling) dealer would be required to provide valet service. No reply yet (2 days) Doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
