  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi folks, hate to start a brand new thread on this topic, but I think we could use one focused on the 4.6 2011 models. As others have mentioned they are a little harder to come by right now.

I am trying to buy a 4.6 and just visited a dealer in Southern California (LAX area). The dealer would not budge below $40,000 + TTL. I thought there was more wiggle room here? What are some of the prices other folks have gotten? Don't be shy. :)

Hi Jury Duty, You're in the right range. I'm also in So Cal and am finding the same thing for a 4.6 V8. I'm actually trying to lease a 4.6 and the price that the dealer is quoting for the lease is about $40,000. I've talked to several dealers and if you're getting the 4.6 for around $40,000 it's not a bad deal. I'm paying about the same and I've talked with enough dealers to know. Good luck. Cornas

I too am actively shopping for a 2011 4.6, but I disagree that the prudent thing to do is to start yet another "prices paid" thread.
there's not enough activity on the existing 2011 prices paid thread as it is.. the Edmunds thread is absent much recent update either.

Here was my deal. I found a 2011 model hard enough to come by in my part of the country, that I did not spend a lot of time trying to find a better price. I probably paid a premium, but it was still far cheaper than my Lexus.

MSRP is $43,935 (includes rear cargo tray and Ipod cable)
The discount and rebate is $3,000 for 2011 V-8's and there is a dealer transfer cost of getting the car here and handling all paperwork of $150.

Your price is $41,085

I think it might be a little early in the production year to get a husky chop on the 2011 price. I do remember getting quoted by the middle of 2010 for the 2010 V8 with Tech $38,000 from a few dealers.
