  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2012 4.6. The car has LDWS and rain sensor. Windshields to go has listed windshields that have either LDWS or rain sensor, but do not list windshields with both. Any thoughts on what route to take. I do not use LDWS but do use the rain sensor. Don't know if appearance would be different or what.

You need to get a Hyundai Windshield I believe. I had to replace mine with the same options. Speedy Autoglass indicated the only windshield they can get is the OEM.. It has the same etched Hyundai logo as my original.

just had mine replaced (due to crack from stone chip). OEM was 1100, replacement via All Service Glass was ~700. was assured by the dealer and by ASG that the replacement was "fully functional" ... and it seems to be just that.

oddly, the rain sensing wipers now actually seem to work better - before they wiped frequently in mist and were real aggressive in even moderate rain. they now behave better.

I recall reading somewhere here that the OEM windshield has better sound deadening qualities. Some owners were complaining about choosing non-OEM replacements.

Just had mine replaced. Not OEM and ran me about $500. Everything works as before. 2012 tech & premium package.

read same thing which made me nervous about the replacement, but have noticed no difference at all.
