  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi, I’m new to the forum with my new to me Genesis 3.8L Night Shadow Brown 2014 Sedan. The car was a dealer utilized car with only 11,000 miles and I’m technically the first owner and received the full 5/10 year warranties! I have had it about 3 weeks and LOVE it! It is so far the best car I’ve owned. My wife’s had a few cars I’ve liked, but this one is all mine. I’ve learned a lot in the short time I’ve been on the forum so now it’s time to start posting!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

I got my 2011 4.6 the same way. It was dealership owner wife's car with only 6,000 miles. So I was first (original) owner with full OEM warranty.

That warranty benefit was a deal closer for me especially buying pre-owned! ;)

Welcome aboard! Thank you for signing up and congratulations on your new Genesis Sedan!!

That's how I got mine, also. It had about 5200 miles on it, and I negotiated $13,000 off the sticker price. I've had it 25 months now, with zero problems. I only put on about 5,000 miles a year, so I'll be driving it until 2025, at least.

You sound like me! This one will be around for the long haul if it runs as anticipated!

Congratulations, the Genesis Sedan is an amazing automobile and welcome to the forum!

I paid $20K for it. I'm not sure of what you mean by trim level? Help me out on that term...
  1. Base Trim - 7 Speaker stereo
  2. Premium Package - 14 Speaker Lexicon
  3. Tech Package - 17 Speaker Lexicon with DIS controller behind shifter
