  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My 2011 Genesis 3.8 sedan shows left front sensor flashing and sounding for no reason, sometimes sitting in the driveway. This may be related to the Cruise Control not working and error icon showing? How do I access the sensor and the control module? Thanks in advance for any help...

They're not interconnected. If your parking sensors are throwing fits, replace them if the nuisance is too much for you.

If your radar cruise error light (red dash light ) is on, have it serviced. Could be a sign of imminent brake failure. My 12's HECU failed during cat-4 hurricane Irma evacuation last year and I lost one of my two front brakes. Not fun.

I see you also created another thread re: parking brake failure... There is definitely something very wrong with the brakes on your car. You need to get your car looked at.

my 2018 does it when the sun is very bright and directly in front of the car, or when the sun very bright and is behind or to the side and reflecting off another cars chrome or windshield.

I've had the same issue on other cars and a couple of trucks that had hitch balls connected, in the summer when the sun is high and bright any reflection screws with them.. I just hit the "P" button on the console and shut them off until I need them.
