  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So I've had my 2010 genesis sedan for a few weeks now and I'm just getting around to getting the power steering fluid topped off because it is low. The manual says I have to use PSF-4, which is Hyundai's own exclusive thing that you can't find anywhere short of going to a dealer or getting it off of amazon. I was wondering if there are any alternatives that I can use to just top off my system without having to flush it or if that really even matters.

Also, wheres a good place to find wheel caps? The only place I can find em is like on eBay and its like 40 bones for ONE which is not happening...

Welcome to the boards! My suggestion, just go ti amazon for your fluid or go to Napa (they usually do well keeping dealer like items). Center cap, check lkq or car-parts.com.

Hope that helps.

Just changed mine recently.
Used LubeGuard Power Steering Fluid from O’Reilly’s.
Double check with their website first if it’s compatible with your vehicle.
You mentioned you needed PSF-4 and it is approved for that.
Attached are images of the product and the applicable uses fact sheet.

BTW, if your reservoir liquid is low, you might want to check for leaks or cracks on the tubing.AC87F48D-252B-4755-BD21-94DCDBFEBDA7.jpegF1A5C383-2290-401D-B8E8-6BEEC77348E0.jpeg

No I just put the new stuff in because I assumed that I already have psf4 in my car, now the issue seems intermittent so I think I didn't have psf4 in there in the first place
