The other day I was getting ready to pull into fast traffic and I may or may not have turned off stage 1 of the ECS (dont remember if I did or not, I think I did) then proceeded to pull out and get up to speed.
Right after I did, I noticed my hazards were on. I dont remember any warning chimes etc. that may have triggered so I hit the flashers in the center console to turn them off.
Question is, did something I do cause the hazards to turn on? (Wheel spin with ECS off? I didnt feel any) or did I somehow manage to hit the flashers on accident and not realize it?
Looked in the manual and I didnt see anything about them being tied to ECS. And forum search didnt turn up anything.
I haven't had it happen since then and I'm not too worried about it, as it makes the most sense to have been accidentally turned on by me when pulling into traffic, but I just cant imagine why my hand would have been anywhere near there. I almost exclusively use touch screen or jog dial/steering wheel to mess with media etc.
