Nope, $1000 down to reserve and contract will be drawn up when they get confirmed delivery and serial number. I know the owner not to mention the sales manager so no worries about getting the best deal available when the time comes.

Good news is my Car has arrived in Canada and should be available at my dealership in about 2 weeks. Bad news is I will be on vacation away from home for 3 weeks. Good news is when I get back I will have a new 2015 Genesis waiting for me.

That's fantastic!! It would be hard for me to not be more excited about the car than the vacation. I don't know that I've seen any other forum members who have the V8 AWD; I suppose there are not too many Canadian V8 owners out there.

I am a boat guy and if it were not for our planned trip I prpbably would have stuck around to get the car ASAP however we have planned to do the Trent canal this year and bask around the Georgian Bay area and then finish up in the Thousand islands. This is a once in a lifetime trip. If you think a V8 Genesis is hard on gas then how about $6000 i fuel for the trip which is about 800 miles. Yep, really anxious to get the new car but also the trip. I would say both are just as exciting
