With all the different threads describing all sort of exhaust mods, I was close to pulling the trigger on some sort of an exhaust mod at least few times in the last six years.
Then I read that Ford, BMW and others are playing fake sound into the cabin to enhance the driver experience, so I wondered if there is an of the shelf app that could do the same?
Sure enough there are few out there already that were good enough to play with just for fun;

It requires a bit of tweaking to get it right, but it was a fun thing play with and I thought I would share...
As turns out, I got so used to the quietness of the Genny cabin, I no longer seem to miss the 'big exhaust' / 'turbo whine' sound any more! (or maybe I am just getting old(er)!
).
five minutes is about all I can take, but I think it will be a nice toy to keep around and have some fun with friends.
I just have to remember to crank that bass way up....
If you would like to try it out, the base 'american muscle' sound is free but you can purchase other more exotic engine sounds for around $2.99 single engine / $4.99 (4 car pack)...
