Q: How to remove the center transparent plate?

Hi folks,

I am planning to dip my front grille but ran into a small problem here.

How do I remove the transparent plate on the center of the grille?

Don't think I'd mess with that plate I believe it's to protect the AEB.
couldn't even say with any certainty that it is in fact removable. Certainly wouldn't leave it off.

You will have to pull the bumper to get the grille off. There are screws to remove the plate at that point. But you will want to put it back... it exposes the microwave plate - and you do NOT want that thing taking a shot from a rock or getting covered with road debris. Also - do not paint or dip it.

I just want to remove it to dip the 2 lines behind the plate. I'll definitely put it back on
