  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Are you sweating whether, or not, the '15 will come equipped with Angel Eyes? Hopefully, this should allow you to lay your burdens down and sleep again at night.

Hyundai does not use angel eyes. Only BMW and Chevy have ever used them.

Used in a generic sense, Angel Eyes and eyebrow lights are DRLs that most folks are looking to find around their headlights these days. I think most folks know what we are talking about here.

Exactly, Midnightsun. Another way of looking at it is that one doesn't have to wear a jock to have Jock Itch.

By the way, see :44 and :54 in the video above to view the '15's Angel Eyes, eyebrow DRLs, or whatever you choose to call them. Now let's just hope that they actually do come with the North American versions.

I give up! What are "Angel Eyes"?

Angel eyes, aka halos, are rings around the optics on the headlights.

Hyundai, Mercedes, Audi, Ford, etc all use LED strips. Same purpose, though not the same thing.

What he said

Me thinks some are missing the point here. The question at hand is, are these lights going to be the DRLs on the '15 Genesis. This movie would indicate so.

It does look like it however I did see another clip (Do not remember where) showing the dimmed standard high beams as DRL lights. I remember this because I said to myself, crap! Guess we will find out in the next few weeks as they become available in North American dealerships.

I'm really not sure anymore,, in that video the headlights look to be on which is why it shows the brow as well.

Look at 4:50. Only lights on are the LEDs.

Interestingly enough Hyundai's current Veloster Turbo, Azera and Eqqus all utilize this "angel eye" feature:
