  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

There has been a few posts regarding this, but in short, I replaced my high beams with SilverStar Ultra's and I have the Tech package with stock HID low beams. I replaced the Foglights with an HID kit.

Do you want to change your bulbs to whiter, or whiter/more light output? 4300K is the standard color temp for a car equipped with HID because 4300K has the most light output out of any color temp. Once you go above 4300K, you'll start losing light output. SilverStar Ultra's are 4100K, but burn out faster then one could imagine. The package even shows the bulb life as super short, and this is why I put them in the high beams because they are a great performing bulb and shouldn't burn out too soon in use of the high beams.
