Good afternoon! Quick question for you folks, Im in canada, rough winters, and just had a baby boy a few months ago so definitely going winter tire route (Got Blizzaks DMV2), in the 19 inch variety. Although my GV70 has the 21 inch tires, just going to store them on rim, over winter
Ofcourse, I am going to get some wheels later this week, wasn't sure what the official specs are for the OEM 19, but I think I'd be OK with 8.5x19 et 35 ?
My question was really about TPMS sensors, in past I've just went without them and lived with the low pressure warning, but this year I'd rather have them. Do you know where the cheapest ones I could get are, that would work. Definitely not going to get them from dealer, for obvious reasons, if I could. My bills already adding up with the wheels and tires so being a little frugal here. Once obtained, could I just give them to my tire installer (not the dealership) and they'll figure it out in terms of installing them with the new tires and wheels, or are they a little more advanced than that these days (car is very high tech so not sure what system it uses)
Thanks in advanced!
