Question on trunk - 2015 Genesis

Brand new member - just picked up a used 2015 Genesis 5.0 Ultimate from Carvana - really enjoyed the process and really loving the car!! My son just got his driver's license, so I gave him my previous car (2015 Sonata). Being a first time Genesis owner, I've spent the last few days familiarizing myself with all the options.

So here is my first question...looking inside the trunk, when you open the trunk lid, there is a small plastic box on the trunk lid. It looks like its supposed to hold on to something, but mine is empty (see my picture). I'm wondering what this is. Maybe the holder for the first aid kit (that is missing)? I couldn't find anything in the user's manual.

I looked at some pictures on Google. Pictures also have nothing there. I would conclude it is for a road triangle. We have some in our inventory and they fold into that position. Why Hyundai wouldn't provide one is beyond me.

Covered before. Some countries require the road triangle. It's provided in those places. I use mine to hold a small umbrella.

I keep the umbrella in the door pocket rather than open the trunk in the rain to find it.

I never use it. Just keep one there. I hate a void.
If it's raining, I don't mind walking in it.

This normally has a hook on either end to hook grocery bags that have atendacy to roll arround in the trunk.

The g80 has a hook under the rear deck lip in the trunk for this purpose.

I wouldn’t recommend hanging those cheap plastic bags from the grocery on that hook though, use the better cloth or canvas bags you have to purchase.
