  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The search isn't helpful for such a short word "vin" number but looking for a way to look up exactly what is on the vehicle option wise and such.
Similar to this site that does it to some gm vehicles
http://www.compnine.com/vid.php
Does such a thing exist yet for Hyundai? I know many just have the tech package or premium etc but would be curious if there is a decoder for the vin or an RPO code similar to how GM does theirs. That lists everything installed at the factory.

These are all great and thank you. However, these still don't do what I was looking for which shows all installed options on the car. Like the RPO codes available in GM vehicles you can ensure what should be on that car if it is certified by looking at the RPOs if there was a Cargo Cover you would know with these codes that it came with it from the factory.

With Hyundai you have to hope all options that it came with are indeed still there and you really don't know what truely was all installed at the factory. Things like leather or wood stearing wheel etc. The vin decoder is nice as it lets you know engine type, assembly plant, and a few other nice items. However, an actual option code read out would be nice to have to double check all that was installed is indeed still there.

Hmm. I see your point.
