  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How many 12volt and usb connections are in the 2015-2016 Genesis... My purchase will be to use it for my job and will need to charge multiple devices. Thanks again! FYI I’ve gotten past the AC design🤣

Great to see you worked past the AC issue. ;)

As was pointed out, there's a USB in the center cubby in front of the gear selector, and on either side of it are 12v "cigarette lighter" plugs. I'm going to assume you could just stick a couple of 12v to USB adapters in there and have three USB plugs within easy reach. That's what I've always done in other vehicles. The center one (the actual USB plug) is what you'd plug your phone into for CarPlay, music, etc. as it connects to the radio. The others are just power as far as I know.

I added double 12V inserts with dual 2.4A each charging ports, so in total, I have 5 USB ports. Only the one supplied by the car allows you to direct connect to the head unit to use the wired connection instead of bluetooth connection to the head unit. If using the 12V to 5V converters, you need to connect using bluetooth.

Here is an example of the ones I use on the sides (over 3 years now and work great, if I have 5 in the car, everyone can charge, though the ports are all up front, just use long wires):
