I have been subbed to this thread forever and it doesn't appear the two companies mentioned here are going to do anything. ARK performance built a highly-modded Genesis sedan and brought it to SEMA this year. Everything I want is done to that car...so I emailed them this morning and inquired about their plans for moving forward with this product line. I mentioned this thread as well.
Here is the link to their site: http://www.arkperformanceusa.com/ark_01_aboutark.php
Here is just one article on the mods: http://wot.motortrend.com/1410_supercharged_2015_hyundai_genesis_sedan_5_0l_heads_to_sema.html
and here is the link to ARK's email: info@arkperformanceusa.com
Contact them! Flood that inbox with requests! Maybe we'll get some traction.
Hate to burst your bubble, but Ark has a storied history of bringing non-functional vehicles to SEMA and here is why:
- A car with a fancy body kit and reports fantastical horsepower through forced induction gets a lot more press than just a car with a fancy body kit.
ARK in turn uses all of this hype to sell body kits molded from their SEMA vehicles. As was the case with both the CFX and Legato Genesis Coupes, as well as their SEMA Veloster.
When asked to open the hood, or even start, of one of their "supercharged" Genesis Coupes at SEMA, they continually refused requests.
Best bet is to contact Bill Wolf at BTR, more importantly, a 4.6 or 5.0 near Arlington Heights, IL to donate their car for them to develop a canned tune. They already do one for the 3.8 Sedan.
