  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

R-Spec and any BMW to get Kicked to the Curb ??

Still don't see your point. If you're going to talk "mid level" cars, then the R-Spec is out since it's the "top gun" for Hyundai, not second fiddle.

Oh, and this Caddy costs as much as an Equus and if price is not a consideration, then an Audi S6 is "mid level" and...............

Caddy won't sell for anything near asking price.. so forget about that.

Anyway,.. Once again.. "use the division of premium high performance sedan.. although NOT ultra high performance.. aka M/AMG/V"

The new CTS VSPORT and V will be sick. Unlike Genny, there will be a intake, downpipe and tune that will push VSPORT over 500hp probably closer to 550hp with less than 2k spent. Very similar mods and prices to the ECO boost. The CTS-V should be north of 600hp but not by much, the ZL1 will get the most power out the bunch which will be around 650. GM is taking off with the DI and FI. Look at the new LT1's...but I'm a boost guy so come on LT4's!

I know a lot of people compare the price and say Genny is the better bang for buck...same thing V owners say about the M5. At the end of the day a person can pick apart each car...

At the end of the day I will be selling my Genny 5.0 when the new CTS-V's hit the lot!

Piped in engine noise? Really?!

Yup. Several marques are now doing that to keep the noise inside the cabin (to please the driver) and not outside (which displeases the feds).

Cadillac has done an impressive job w/ the 3G CTS based on the early reviews (always thought it had a good chance to gain the top spot in its segment for driving dynamics).

And really don't have a problem w/ the pricing.

Btwn the 3G CTS and the 2G Genesis, it will be the Japanese that will be squeezed.

Man that CTS V-Sport is a good-looking car, especially from the front. Kudos to Cadillac.
