R-Spec Oxygen Sensor Failure in less than 5K miles

Today (Friday afternoon) my almost brand-new '14 R-Spec with under 5,000 miles gave me a check-engine light and a message on the screen to call BlueLink. The BL guy told me the code (P2271) which at least for the 2015 engines means Bank 1 Sensor 2 O2 sensor signal is stuck rich. Over the BL phone he made an appointment for to get it looked at on Monday morning at my local dealer. Could have been worse.

Not too bad.

I blew a strut mount in the first 5,000. Then a few thousand later the strut that attached to the broken mount blew. They said they wanted to replace the strut during the first visit, but Hyundai warranty officials wouldn't sign off.

After the initial gremlins are worked out, these are typically reliable vehicles.
