R-Spec Transmission

I've had my R-Spec for a week and after 500 miles I agree that the transmission is the weak spot of the car. My foot should not hit the floorboard before it shifts gears but it sure does. After a sluggish start it takes off like a bat out of hell and the passing power is really impressive (I'm used to a C6 Corvette).

Are there any tricks to getting off the line quicker with these transmissions?

After using mine for about 4000 miles I settled on the intermediate mode. Absolutely no problems with the car since install. Also, mine is the type for the automatic transmission.

Place the shifter in manual mode and hit the pedal. Don't touch the shifter until you're ready to slow down. I've found my car to be the quickest using this method.
