  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Have read a lot of the other posts. Most relate to tapping into the mirror wiring with a Blendmount. I prefer to hardwire my Uniden R3 to the fuse block.

I used the 10A fuse for the wireless charger with a fuse tap. Second row to the right of the main Fuse On/Off switch (which I've never seen before BTW). Finding a ground was the toughest part. Hope this helps others.

I am struggling with the ground as well. Where did you end up finding one?

I wired mine to the OBD, it has fused ignition and ground there.

I used a knock off blend mirror tap for the radar detector but a fuse tap for the dash cam. Thier mount is unfortunately worth the money though. 😔

With the side panel off there is a bolt that connects to a metal bracket that looked attached to frame further in. I used that and no issues so far.
