  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Thanks

I'd check the seal around the shark fin. Could be water getting in. It may be good with rain, but the brushes my lift it a bit.

What part is failing, exactly? FM? AM? SAT?

Sirius/XM. The radio is on and shows the station but no sound.
Thats going to be an issue with the shark fin as Ed mentioned. Be very careful if you are wiggling it as it’s basically bolted to the glass.

Yeah this is not a surprise. The frequencies involved with the Sirium/XM are in the microwave range, and they are extremely sensitive to water in the air. I am sure there is some water getting in there, and then creating a high humidity environment that blocks the signal. Once this clears, you're back online.
