If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I wouldn't bet the rent on this thing working, or on getting your money back on eBay if it doesn't. My opinion FWIW

No one needs rain sensing wipers:-
Hyundai give you a control stalk Free...

The rain sensing feature replaces the normal intermittent setting most cars have so it does become important in light rain or mist where a low setting moves the blades to frequently forcing you to constantly hit the stalk manually when you sense the need adding an unnecessary distraction to the driver.

Thats why he needs it, to avoid these unnecessary distractions !!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
You would also need to have the special windshield the RS Genesis have at about $900 or so.

I dont think it needs a special windshield, you can put the sensor any where in upper part of windshield, it sticks so easily. Just about wire connections i dont know is it suitable for genesis or not!

Yes, you do need a different windshield.

I read from its description that it dont need another windshield, the idea is very simple, the sensor sticks to wind shield and as it rains the water on windshield adjacent to sensor then the sensor sense the change in view infront of it,so it will send signals to wipers to work, its not related to windshield, you will just stick the sensor to a clear area on it that wipers pass over it to clean the windshield!!

Ya gotta wonder how, in this day and age, folks can cope with manually handling the high beam stalk and turn signals. It shouldn't be allowed!

You've clearly never used the rain sensing feature on the Genesis then. The moment it detects something the wipers go full blast at the highest setting.

Yes I have experienced the same but can usually turn it off and back on to get it working properly.

Sadly, it's comforting to know this rain sensing feature kinda' sucks for others too. As much as I didn't like the ride and road noise in my Azera, at least everything worked as it should including the adjustments for the brake and accelerator pedals!!

My windows sometimes decide not to roll up (or down) to where I've even had to turn the car off and back on. And as detailed as the list is, it seems to be growing on a regular basis. (I have the infamous '10)
