Random Glitches

Any other owners experiencing odd, random glitches? For instance:

- Occasionally the up/down audio control on the steering wheel doesn't work. I can make the desired change via the DIS knob, and the control on the steering wheel always works after that.

- Given where I have the memory set for the seat and steering wheel, both retract when I shut off the car (the seat a little and the wheel a lot). When I start the car later, the seat always goes back to the desired position, but occasionally the steering wheel doesn't.

None of this is significant enough to warrant a trip to the dealer (particularly since he's ~100 miles away), and problems like this tend to be damn tough to replicate and resolve, anyway. I'm hoping it's something that will take care of itself as the car settles into a groove, but I was just curious if anyone else had experienced anything like this.

So far I have no complaints. <<touch wood>>

To be fair I haven't paid much attention yet to the memory seat! That feature has always driven me crazy on every car I had that offered it.

With the exception of jwaters door squeek, I think all the other comments posted seem to be electrical-system related. The system is somewhat complicated under the hood... Hopefully some of them are just configuration issues.

Sorry to hear you're having problems. Aside from the drivers door squeek, I have no issues so far.....I'm hoping it stays that way! This was part of the reason I steered clear of the Tech Package. The transmission, V6 engine, suspension technology (ZF AS dampers are very similar to the C-Class suspension), etc. are all pretty much proven.

Still, as long as none of them are bugging you too much I would take it in at your first oil change.
