Rear brake pads are showing

Has anyone ever seen or have this happen to their rear brake calipers and pads? I have no idea how and why this has happened. This is first time I have ever seen this. I have an appointment Thursday morning to have Genesis service department to look at them.

What are you pointing out? That you can see the back of the pad outside of the caliper?

My brakes look the exact same. I think it's normal.

They’re actually protruding out of the front part of the calipers on both sides. I’ve had this car for 2 years and washed it by hand since and I have never seen this until recently. Thanks for the compliment

Yea, mine looks just like that. Always has. Since it's identical on both sides I've always assumed it's normal.
