Rear bumper clear coat peeling

I know this has been beat to death here. But my question is has anyone actually fixed the issue them selves? The paint under the clear coat looks like a flat white on my wife's car. So I assume the clear coat has the glitter/pearl in it. If you fixed your car yourself did the clear coat you use have glitter/pearl in it also? And to blend this it looks like I would have to redo most of the bumper. Was that your experience also?

2009 4.6 Same problem. Yellowing bubbly paint on rear bumper. Two diffrent paints from what i was told. White Then pearl, then clear. $600 for mine to be fixed?

The color code is inside the door AT is pearl. That's what I have.

Thanks. I will see what my local paint supply place tells me. I will probably shoot it soon since my wife hates to see it.
