Rear climate control?

The option to turn on the rear climate control seems to be grayed out and I'm not sure why (This option under the MENU option when pressing the CLIMATE button). Anyone know why that option isn't available to me? Can't seem to figure it out. I'm sure it's something simple. BTW, it's a 2015 3.8 Ultimate package.

Do you have the vent open in the back seat? If it's closed, the option is turned off in the Climate settings.

Yes, the vent is set to be all the way open. But the option stays grayed out. Is there some other way to "open" the vent other than the wheel directly beside the temperature dial?

If your vents on the rear of the console are open but no airflow you need a switch replaced at dealer. This happened to me a month ago. With fix it is now working. Write up says switch Assy venti. Part number 97025-b1000.

Once this is Done your rear ac will not be greyed out in your climate control window.
