  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I removed the G70 3.3t and Genesis logos. Seems to look clean. I want it to be less identifiable when I'm driving like an a*****e.
LOL

I'm not a fan of putting the emblem on the trunk lid in place of the lettering. I had a 2019 G70 3.3 and people never knew it was a Genesis. Some thought the emblem was a Bentley or a Chrysler. It needed a better identity. I was happy to see that they did the right thing and removed the trunk emblem and added the GENESIS lettering. I could never go back to the look of my old 2019 G70 with the emblem only. Just my personal taste. For those who prefer an emblem and no lettering, awesome for them. Removing everything makes the trunk lid look like a repair was done and the letterings are yet to be added. But again, if someone likes that look....awesome for them. Custom touches won't appeal to everyone.

I don't mind the emblem but it seems a bit too large. The way it's handled size wise on both Bentley and Aston Martin seem less in-your-face than Genesis.

From a purely aesthetics POV, I think the lettering and the emblem are both quite nice. The thing I have with raised lettering, in general, is that they always snag on my wash mitten and tear fibers off. Plus the lettering makes applying wax or other surface treatment a bit more cumbersome. Not really that big a deal though.

Nice. I like that.
All other badging off and just the GENESIS name in black. Looks great in my opinion.
Tried to view but got error message. Page could not be found

I'm tossing around removing the 3.3T & AWD lettering, but leaving the chrome Genesis. If I ever black out all my chrome I'll do the badge to match, but otherwise I'll leave it in chrome for the time being.

Of course, you could apply a ceramic coating like I did and don't have to worry about applying wax or other surface treatment regularly. I have my past two Genesis vehicles ceramic coated as well. Well worth the cost.

I think it would look great either way!

Post up some pics when you get it done. (y)
