Woooooahhh. Wait. You just heat it up with a hairdryer or heat gun…. SLOWLY and then take dental floss… about 3 single strands together and pull it through the double stick tape. I took off front and rear and had absolutely zero adhesive left on car and all emblems looks brand new once removed.
If there is resistance with the floss you did not get the glue warmed enough.

The biggest plus of getting rid of the individual letters is the ease of washing and waxing (or whatever paint protection treatment you do).

After having to return the 3.3T SP due to an engine issue, I ended up with a '23 2.0T SP. Immediately removed all letters, and ordered the rear wing badge of the '21s. Installed it right below the crease on the trunk, since where the letters were before, is way too low IMO. Looks great where I put it. However, in retrospect, I'd have ordered the FRONT badge instead. The rear one is a bit small to me on that giant plain trunk, but not enough to do it all over again. But for those ordering the badge now, I'd get the front one instead .

Way better. I am so happy they never put stuff on the trunk of my 2020. I enjoy the CF emblems I keep but the name has gotta go.

Not a fan of the refresh and the dealer was hounding me to trade my car and I am like no thanks.

I can understand the lights but why the trunk I do not get it.

I am very curious to see the new look in a few years but now that I hooked p my car so much and it still has under 20k I doubt I will change.

But your car looks way better now, great work.

That's exactly what I'll do my future 3.3T SP, BUT I'll add the wing emblem of previous years. Looks too plain like that. I always remove all letters from my vehicles, but always like a logo in the middle. I'll just buy one (an OEM), but need to find out where is cheapest. I just need to find a damn car first. None available until the end of the month, if at all. We'll see. What will complicate things is I want the lighter interior, which is not that common.

Good luck on your search. Oddly enough out here in California all i saw when looking was the lighter interior. I originally fell in love with siberian ice but couldn't find it with the black interior. Then when we got to the dealer to buy an Alta white they had a Hallasan Geeen out front they had just sold and I fell in love with the color so that's what I went with. Couldn't be happier.

Didn't see this color for 2023 so i went with hallasan green. Love it.

I removed the G70 3.3t and Genesis logos. Seems to look clean. I want it to be less identifiable when I'm driving like an a*****e.

Did anybody catch Genesis new reveals. They revealed a GV80 coupe and a new emblem. I like the new emblem much better. Might have to wait till someone makes an aftermarket one and swap out my 2023 badges. What are you folks thoughts on the new emblem?

I just ordered Reflective Red Carbon Fiber badges and like them better than anything Genesis makes

There is no logo in the center and these are just black. They made the CF parts on my car for my front markets and boomerang’s in the front bumper.

You can google reflective red.

$325 I paid and should have them soon.

I personally like the current badge a lot better than the others posted above. I also put the older trunk emblem on my '23, but wish I had gone with a 2nd front one, since the trunk one looks a bit small IMO. But not going to replace it. Just something for others to consider when ordering one for the trunk.

Looks weird without a logo IMO. Get the trunk logo of a '21, and put it below the camera (that's what I did, but by itself). Hardly anybody knows what the heck 'Genesis' means anyway, so when people ask me what I drive, I just tell them a Hyundai G70, since that's what it is. Ha ha.

That is like someone asking a Lexus owner what they drive and they say a Toyota IS350.

I have not had anyone not know what a Genesis is however I believe there are some that do not. If they would friking put up some dealerships already lol

Funny; I've owned every Lexus V8 model (started with the SC400 in '96), and always told people I owned a Toyota... because again, that's what they were. Ha ha. The US is the only freaking country where they're sold as 'Lexus', rather than Toyotas... because most buyers want to feel 'special'. I'm not like that.

Hey, thanks jeff. I got mine out of Saskatoon. I'm now registered with the dealership at yeg, and I'm sure they would charge me an arm and leg at yeg. Lol. Which colour is your genesis?

Here's mine, which I believe is the Makalu Gray like Jeff's. I had the tint shop debadge it while they were doing my windows.

I also had them black matte vinyl the red reflectors above the exhaust ovals.

I ordered a '22 G70 front badge, ground the posts down and filled in the spots with 3M molding tape tape.

From there, it's just cleaning the trunk face to remove any wax/debris and deciding where u want it. I used blue 3M painter's tape to form a top edge template once I got it precisely located.

Overall about a 20 minute job. Pretty easy if you decide to do it yourself. An extra set of eyes and hands (my wife) helped.
