  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 3.3T RWD G70.

It seems like whenever the car loses traction, it always kicks out to the right, never the left, even with all nannies on.

Earlier today I was attempting a 0-60 since the weather has cooled down a bit. I used launch control, tires spun, car moved fwd a bit and then rear end kicked out to the right which moved my car to the lane next to me.... Luckily no one was around.

Anyone experience the same? Also, is this normal or what could be causing this.. Driver error? Lol.

How do your tires look? Only thing I can think of is uneven wear causing one tire to always lose traction before the other

Both are pretty worn, passenger side just a tad bit more than drivers. Maybe I need new tires.

could be the car's dynamic tendencies, not related to tire wear. how the torque affects the driveline/chassis, and which direction the driveshaft rotates, etc. this could make the tendency to kick out to the right. same thing happened in my G37S. it usually twitched in one direction most of the time.

here's an exaggeration, shown by the old fox body where it twists to the right under high launch load:

...or i could be out to lunch and one of your tires is low on air.

Maybe the camber of the road tilting you towards the shoulder?

I'll have to find an empty parking lot somewhere to practice. A couple times I almost ended up in the curb. Lol
Rwd and a short wheelbase will bite you. I’ve spun a couple times on empty streets, it’s really going to take a lot of practice to nail every time. I’m trying to find a good place to practice myself where I can put some serious time in

My AWD kinda does this in winter but the front wheels pull me out of it. It's exhilarating.
