In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Searched here and didn't find anything specific on the Rear Turn Signal issues.
I got the rapid blinker sound and knew it was time to replace the front bulb yet again; however, not the case the rear signal was not working this time.
I am looking for a wiring and connector diagram specific to the rear turn signals so I can start trouble shooting

Neither yellow LED RH Turn segments illuminate (2 piece led taillight) trunk and body are not working, leads me to believe its an upstream power issue not the led light segments itself.
All other rear lights are working OK, tail, brake, reverse, BU Camera.
Both Front turn signal are working
Both Mirror turn signal are working

Going to perform the trunk floor wiring harness inspection and repair per TSB 20-BE-007H, possibly a broken is a cause but not sure how the turn signal wires are run to each segment (trunk and body wire diagram??

If anyone else has had this issue and a DIY solution would like to hear about it. Thanks Scott

There's a group of wires that run along the trunk hinge that are known to break and cause this problem. Its a known issue with this generation. I linked the fix below requires fixing the wires and moving a bracket. I threw my bracket away.

Look into getting leds. I had to wire in a resistor but it was pretty simple. I think they have led bulbs out now with the resistor built in. The alternate is to switch down to the 1157 bulb a bit dimmer but itll make the bulb last longer or don't use ur drls. A heads up the normal incandescent bulb gets really hot and burns the socket to a crisp. Its a PITA to wire in a new one bc of space.

Thanks @5.0KDM that is a great post and will help. can you share a detailed wiring diagram that I can determine which wire is the RH rear turn wire color and location? a wiring diagram of the connector would help a lot. I assume the wires in your posted attachment leads to the trunk lights (which are not working only for the RH turn) but possibly not tied to the outside quarter panel RH turn signal Also not functioning. any and all help is appreciate. Thanks!,

Here's a couple schematics. The bottom right corner (turn & lamps 5) references the two other schematics via CAN bus but I don't see any of the turn lamps on those. When I had a failed CAN module... the indicators didn't work.

If the wires to the trunk were to break (very common), I would think only the inner light would be out, not both. The photo shows the outer connection looking like it has nothing to do with the trunk harness... unless that harness is shorting and disrupting the CAN signals.

Thanks @arcman I think this is issue may be above my ability to diagnose. I did verify all wires on trunk are good and mounted in the updated location so that is not the problem.
I assume this is a dealer diagnosis situation or someone with the tools to scan for CAN function.
When your failed CAN was replaced was this by the dealer? or yourself. Any idea of its location and or part number.

Thanks

Someone with a good quality scanner might be able to help. If no broken wires it might be in the lever(stalk) on the column.

The 'CAN' (Controller Area Network) bus is basically Ethernet for the car. Exact same principal. Dozens of modules communicate with each other via a twisted pair of wires through a 'Gateway'.

Short story is mine had a bad chip in the parking brake module that messed up communication with many other modules.

Long story... My car was 'Totaled' by the insurance company over a part costing $1.46

The included jpg (for example) shows 13 modules attached on the 'C' CAN bus by way of one twisted pair of wires. That pair of wires goes from the front bumper, up to the roof and back to the rear bumper. Any oops along the way can cause serious problems.
