  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anybody else have a rattle that comesfrom their rear window shade? When my shate is extended there is no rattle but when it is retracted I get a rattle. Any ideas on how to fix this?

First I heard of this one. I have no issues with mine and it goes up and down every time I put the car in reverse. I leave mine up all the time so maybe that is why I never heard a rattle.

I get the same thing with mine, have not been able to come up with a solution except to leave it up more

We don't get those in Canada so there is nothing to rattle. :D

mine is silent but you might want to see if adding a bit of felt where the shade rests would resolve the issue.

The dealer should be able to solve the issue with a bit of felt. They have felt shims in stock for these issues.

Welldeal with it till I decide to take the car in for a dealer visit. Not gonna make one just for this just yet. I leave the shade up most of the time anyway right now. Thank you for the input I am glad to hear this is somewhat common
