  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Okay, spent hours searching for hopefully an easy question. I've viewed Youtube on de-badging a Genesis "Coupe".
Apparently it has 2 screws you need to remove...my question...does my 2011 sedan have the screws? Or is it that simple to debadge and drop in the new one?
Thanks

No screws- all you need is hair dryer to heat emblem and its glue/tape up and some heavy duty "dental floss" and some patience. takes about 5-10 minutes-then you have to get glue residue off car.

just KNOW there will be two holes (thickness of a pencil, straight through x2) where the guide pins run into the trunk lid.

That's what I was hoping to hear THANKS!

There are many threads in this forum on how to do it, and I would suggest you read them if possible.
