Getting familiar with the group...
I'm getting road noise from my tires --> w-w-w-w-w-w that hits its stride around 45 mph. Annoying, but doesn't affect the ride (yet). Dealer advised rebalancing and alignment for about $140. I'm considering replacing all 4 tires with Bridgestone Serenity's since I'm in the "harsh ride" camp. However, I'm leery of spending $900 to replace tires with only 11.6k miles.
I had the car towed a few months back (failed fuel pump) which could explain an alignment issue. The tires only started making the noise about a week after getting the car back and it's become more noticeable over time. So perhaps the rebalancing and alignment will do the trick. At the same time, the idea of better riding tires is attractive, but expensive.
