  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Guys—I have a 2017 g90 that had both of the turbo oil lines/ recall performed back in 2020. Was informed today that the one of the lines are leaking again. Would this be a dealer recall issue again or an out of pocket repair. I purchased the car second hand in 2019.

Anybody???

Tough to say, I would reach out to the Dealer who did the work and ask them.

Have you asked your dealer?

Wish I could, local Genesis / Hyundai dealer changed hands and no longer a Genesis dealer…says they can work on it but are scheduled out till Feb 13 even just to look at it. That’s my dilemma, if it’s not covered I’ll send it to a local guy a pay the 1500. I just don’t want to wait and then here I’m on my own from the dealer. And no the dealer will not talk hypotheticals, pretty unfriendly service shop. They want to see it before making a statement what is covered and what isn’t.
