  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

When using the phone app to remote start the car, has anyone found a way to increase the current 10 minute limit the car will run after being started remotely?

Nope, but if anyone does I’d love to hear how!☺️

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
you can extend it by resending the command from the app at the 9 minute mark. at least in my 2018 I can, then it will continue for another 10 minutes.

3 times max. for 30 minutes max. .

though personally I don't see the need, 10 minutes should be find. for me 2-3 minutes is more than enough.

Problem here in Phx summers is that 10 mins. Ain’t gonna do a thing for cooling down a car that’s been sitting outside for several hours in 115 degree heat...

Well remember starting my car on a cold winters morn,in Mpls. And warming it up cuz it wouldn’t move an inch til the automatic trans fluid warmed up enough to flow freely.☺️ Would just sit there an whine at ya.

Would be enough if you were able to turn the heated seats on. That makes a huge difference.
