Remote start working but with wrong temperature on 2017 G90

Hi friends! Something weird happened with my app and my car. I start with Winter 80F (it's my default preset) and when I get in the car it's running at 67! The app has been working with no issues since I got the car last summer and now this past week it's been doing this.

Called Connected services today and they had me press the reset button on the dash and then delete the app and reinstall and the problem still exists.

I've gone into the settings and submitted them again hoping that would make a difference but no luck. They said they would put in a ticket for me and someone would get back to me in 3-5 days.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Try setting for a lower temperature and see what happens. I always used 70 for winter and depending on outside temp it usually did not reach that before I got in.

Keep in mind, no matter what you set the temperature for, it won't heat up any faster than the engine can make heat. I've seen people do that with the thermostat in the house thinking it will heat or cool faster if the set the thermostat to a more extreme temperature.

Hi EdP, but I've been using it and its getting up to 80 with no problem all winter. It's just up until about a week ago that it stopped.

I have tested it by sitting in the car over 80 and then walking away from the car, remote starting it and getting back into it (less than 2 minutes later) and it's blowing out 67 degrees.

Maybe post a pic of the settings in your app.

So just for ruling things out, try setting both winter and summer to 81. Just suspicious that you have summer set to 68 and that is what you are seeing.

It’s 19 degrees here. I need warmer than 67.

Hi Suzy, I just posted the same issue except my climate isnt coming on at all via remote start. This issue started a few days ago. I put in a problem ticket today. I even reinstalled the intelligence app but the problem is continuing.

Sorry to hear this! I'll post back here to let you know the outcome of my ticket.

When we did trouble shooting they had me reset the dashboard with the paperclip, turn off blue tooth, deleted and reinstall the app and try again. Same with you?

I havent heard from them yet... Ive noticed the following all of a sudden: When I turn my car on the climate system is OFF, it doesnt come on with the last settings as it used too. Ive been trying to troubleshoot this myself and now I cannot use remote start for the rest of the day because I have gone over the limit.. which I did not know I was limited to a certain number of starts/stops. I just paid around 127.00 for the year to use this, SO i dont appreciate them giving me a limited # of uses.

Ok, so on a thread I started earlier about this a member recalled the Intelligent Assist app was updated about 2 weeks ago and his defroster isnt working.. we are speculating an issue due to the update. So we'll see.

How many starts did you get? I was unable to find any limits. Most of us would typically use it only a few times in a day but I don't know why they would have to limit and as in your situation, with some troubleshooting you may want more than typical users.

Hey so funny enough, I made my own temperature (MAX HOT HI) and when I got into the car it was on HI!
I wonder what the difference is with these?!
