Thank you for your reply and I’m just discovering that the connected services remote start is going away as of December, 22. Is this so and if it is I’m going with the unit mentioned above. Good recommendation.

December 22nd is the date 3G will be shut down at the carrier. Some older genesis vehicles have a 3G modem for connected services. But as I understand, the G70 utilizes LTE, so no interruption is anticipated.

I see Genesis finally got their own VIN lookup site working. Happily, the same result as the Hyundai site.

Is there by chance a remote start that we aren't aware of using the key fob? I saw this video today with a 2018 Stinger and he demonstrated that on some cars they can hit lock, trunk, trunk and the car starts...

You're not involved. The main vehicles that are affected are the G80s. They used a different (older) generation of Connected Care/BlueLink. My 2015 is gonna lose her remote start . She's been such a good girl, might be a sign that it's time to upgrade though.
