I'm in the same situation and am panicking. Is there an aftermarket alternative that does accident notification, remote heat/air, etc.?

Well, the new iPhone is supposed to do crash detection.

How many accidents are there that are severe enough that you need automated emergency notification, but still minor enough that the connection between the battery and the blue link is not severed?
 
i am getting one from best buy ( compuserv) $249 comes with 2 key fob , its just 1 way and no heat or a/c controls just remote start , you here of any others let me know

You really don't need the heat/AC controls. Just set the climate control on AUTO and when the car starts it will try to achieve that setting.

Computstar has 3 models. I have the middle one and it does let me know the car started.

well i got a compustar remote installed by best buy ($250) now i have a issue i think , i dont think ,my lane asst is working i made 2 trips to town yesterday and i never saw the steering wheel , could they have done something ?
