Just get a mykey premium. Easy install, works great.

that's my plan, but i don't want to void the extended warranty. IOW, I don't want genesis/hyundai to refuse a repair down the road because i installed an aftermarket remote starter.

so, after i posted my original question i spoke with my cousin who has been in the auto sale business for decades. he said that installing an aftermarket remoter starter DOES NOT void the warranty. i'm getting one installed ASAP.
