Remote won't even light up?

Hey guys, I got a 2013 Genesis sedan 3.6, and my remote won't work for it. The keyless entry doesn't work, and I've replaced the batteries. The other forums state it might be a problem with frequencies, but my remote doesn't even light up when I press the buttons. Also the sticker on the inside is white, I'm not sure if it changes colors from water damage but I saw a video on how to change the battery and his sticker was pink?
 
If you just bought it, I would call the dealer.

Did you get 2 remotes? I hope you did. I would not have purchased with just one.
 
I didn't know that the remote is suppose to light up when pressed. Cause mine doesn't . but it works fine. Are they suppose to or not.
