Does anybody know how to remove marker (Sharpie or similar) residue from the inside of the windshield without damaging the windshield? My town issues a resident pass that adheres to the inside of the windshield. When issuing it, the clerk writes the license plate number in marker on the inside of the sticker (i.e., the side facing the windshield). This marker transferred to the inside of the windshield after the previous sticker was installed for a year. I have tried cleaning it with my usual glass cleaner (Stoner Invisible Glass) with no effect, but have not yet tried anything else. Thank you.
