  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I know it's here somewhere but i have lost it. ANYONE try and remove the Lazy H ?

I was thinking about cutting it off with a shart exacto knife so the new stick on would recess in and look more OEM.

Buying a new Air Bag module is out of the Question for me.

I wish you didn't do anything on that lazy "H" yet. Since you can easily put your new steering wheel emblem on top of the Lazy "H" without any difficulty and the most important thing is that it still looks like an OEM stuff. No BS.

Hope this helps.

Just stick the Genesis wing badge right on top of the lazy "H"...it looks fine and is a snap!:)

I think Don is going for the recessed look. I agree that the aftermarket badge looks fine over the stock H, but I can see how if it's recessed that it might look more like it was designed that way.

Problem is that I'm not sure that it will turn out that way. The kit comes with extra adhesive if you want to remove the H, which seems to imply that the profile of the sticker is such that it won't make much of a difference. It seems designed to fit on top of the H and not to be flush with the airbag unit surface.

Even though it's costly, there's a night and day difference between the KDM airbag unit's Genesis logo and the aftermarket one.

EDIT: Check out post #16 of this thread: http://www.genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?t=1395&page=2 ... seems to be little point in removing the H, and it's irreversible.

THANKS DATAGUY for the relay to that set of postings, Looks like I just sticker er on. :)

Q? For now I blacked out the emblems. How much filler work was it for all the rear emblems once removed:
