I'd like to get some input from other Genesis 5.0 (or RWD variant) owners on what the best practice is for replacing their rear tires.
My rear tires need to be replaced, and I've ordered a pair of BF Goodrich G-FORCE COMP-2 A/S for the rears from Costco. The front tires are Continental CONTIPROCONTACT with little over 50% tread life. I don't know if I should also order matching BFGs for the front. Internet has conflicting advice - most recommend making sure all tires are same brand/size, but when I try to filter it down to factory staggered sizes, it gets much less helpful.
Figured I'd ask here since it's much more applicable for my situation.
P.S. Tire Rack says the BFGs are Performance, while the Conti's are Grand Touring. Is there an issue with mixing the classes of tires?
