  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone found a place to buy or build just one of the custom winged 18" wheel caps for the 4.6?

My tire store damaged one of mine and I'm finding it impossible to find either a single cap or an emblem that can replace the center if I just buy a stock cap. All of the ones I've seen on eBay have either been the cheaper black background or the original "fiber" background.

Any ideas? TIA. :)

Tell the tire store manager to get you a new matching cap. If they have to buy a set that is the store's problem. The store has total liability of cost. I use to manage a tire store and we made good on anything we damaged regardless of cost.

It may come to that. :( The sad thing is that I warned them about positioning them correctly and about the expense and difficulty of replacement before they started the work.
