  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

No, but check with a tire guy to be sure there is clearance. Usually you can go a size or two with no problems.

Keep in mind it can affect speedometer accuracy, handling on fast turns and ride. You may like the ride better.

Staggered tires in the 18" size, Discount Tire recommends:
Front: 225/45R18
Rear: 255/40R18

The V8 is staggered ( 19") but the 3.8 is the same all around according to Tirerack.com

Correct. But if he chooses to go to 18's, this is the size DT recommends.

So maybe they know more than Genesis engineers? Would be nice to know their reasoning.

Genesis fitted the car with the same size tire on all 4 corners. Discount tire is recommending a different size on front and back. Why? What do they know that Genesis engineers do not? Tirerack only lists one size.

This is the staggered configuration for the 3.3TT and V8 RWD models.
