  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So from what I can tell it looks like you have to take the wipers off the car to replace the blades on my '13 R-spec.

You can't stand them up with the hood closed or open.

So what I'm wondering is, is there anything in particular I need to be aware of when removing the wiper? Mainly in terms of getting it back in the same spot when reinstalling.

Thanks.

Not sure if your is the same but you move the wiper up so you can remove/replace the blade
For your convenience, move the
windshield wiper blades to the service
position as follows;
After turning off the engine, move the
wiper switch to the single wiping
(MIST) position within 20 seconds
and hold the switch more than 2 seconds
until the wiper blade is in the
fully up position.

A simple You Tube search.

It also explains the procedure in your owners manual if you still have that.
