  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Fellow Genesis enthusiasts,

I purchased a 2011 4.6 sedan a few days ago and have been cruising through the threads here...good stuff! And I really love the Genesis, is my first Hyundai ever, feels like a very reliable car, albeit a quiet one lol.

I’m wanting to give it a bit more “rumble”, but definitely don’t want any drone. Also don’t want to spend much money on this. Was wondering if any of you have any experience / understanding of what the 4.6 sounds like with just the stock resonator deleted. Of course, factory mufflers would stay on the car with this option.

Any thoughts? Thanks for any input!

I'm going to answer my own question.

Here's my 2 cents. After doing more research, sounds like the Dynomax VT mufflers are the way to go, given what I'm looking for with my sedan. More rumble, low cost, no drone.
