Not scientific but just an observation

3 would have the current car

Nice work - for me it was definitely Infiniti that lost out.

Thanks, I really think the luxury car divisions have been affected by the Genesis's arrival including your choice of Infiniti. Alot of people don't want to believe that Hyundai took away from the big boys and just stoled from people looking for an alternative to their Camary or Ford.

I personally think its a little of both. On one hand you have the lux buyer who saw the value in the Genesis and then on the other you have those who were in something similar and made a lateral move (in terms of pricing). In my opinion most people shop cars by price. So like it or not the Genesis mostly competes with the Avalons, Maxs, Passats etc of the world. Even if the content is more similar to a M35, GS350, E350 etc.

You forgot Ford. I voted for the Taurus/SHO or the Pontiac G8.

I think this was a great question. Can you break down the Lexus/Toyota and Cadillac/Chevy/Pontiac numbers so we can break out the luxury segment?

The biggest losers may be Lexus, Cadilliac and Infiniti after regoing over the stats
