Resurrecting an abandoned 2011 3.8 Gen Coupe

Wats up guys? I just acquired a clean but forgotten Genesis Coupe 3.8.

At some point it had headers, oil cooler, ecu re-vamped and was swapped from an auto to a 6spd manual. But the condition i brought it home to was a majorly stripped engine bay, no seats, 4 spare tire and a trunk full of water.

The person i got it from basically built it for the owner, said that they recall all it needed to run was headers and an oil cooler. This car has been sitting for well over a year and i want to know where to start to get it running/turning over before I throw all these bolt-ons I just ordered on.

I figured it'd be a good idea to maybe drain the gas tank, blow out the fuel lines, change the spark plugs, and add a new battery. Is there any way to drain the tank (i.c. a drain plug???) or do you have to drop the tank. Where/what else should i look into for getting this beast back to life? Any sensors that can be removed/by-passed? What things should I look for?

I've ordered the following to not only bring it back to life, but build into a drift project: Mishimoto alum. rad, hoses, & oil cooler kit, AEM CAI, UR water pump & Alt. pulley, Tsudo headers and catless downpipes, Smoked headlights (it has no HL or frnt bumper cover), K-Sport control Pro coilovers, rear slotted brake rotors (had no rotors in rear). I still need to get electric fans, stainless brake lines, and install my hydro e-brake.

Ive noticed that there are several connectors and things that are not connected to anything or have nothing to connect to. Namely there were no exhaust manifolds, hence why I bought headers. There are 4 holes for 02 sensors, but no 02s. I did get the factory MAF i ordered from the dealer I work at.

I really am not new to cars or minor tuning at all, just Hyundais, especially this one. Again, this is strictly going to be a track car so I dont need street-legal related info, just enough to make it run and drive. Please advise

Any positive advice and insite on getting this thing to run would be greatly appreciated

Need some insight and motivation here...

Update for today:
So today I added 2.5 gal of fresh fuel to our little drift car in the making. I put my batter booster pak for about five minute while i looked for the push-start button. It turned over a couple of time but no start. I checked the spark plugs and came to find out it has HKS plugs in it. Sweet. they looked to be in good shape. Next i pulled the fuel pump out. When i pulled the feed line off some fluid came out (smelled like really really week gas) and pulled the plug off and water came out from the wire loom covering the wires for that plug. I got the pump assembly out and got some wire and tested the pump. It works fine but its a really quiet pump. Is that normal? I noticed the tank is about 3/4 the way full. I dont know how much (if any) of the gas is still good. I imagine if its been in there sitting about 1.5yrs its probably no good. Anyways I put the pump back in and tried starting again and just got clicking from the almost dead battery and booster pack....sigh...frustrating
I'm starting to wonder if i should just pull this motor, get the 4.8/5.3 LSx and use the Mishimoto parts on that. I'd love to run this motor, but if its going to cost more just to get it running (shop diag., repair and tune) and apparently the LSXs need only like 4 wires to run, that might be a better route. With this car I am by no means a purist for keeping it Hyundai (I could care less) and a drift car's motor should be simple, powerful and reliable.

*UPDATE*

In the past month i have been able to install my Mishimoto oil cooler, heat-wrap and install my Tsudo headers and downpipes, Ksport coilovers, Home-made Ac delete (removed compressor and got a shorter belt) completely stripped the interior of speakers, radio, ac, heat, and most useless wires. Needless to say it looks a lot different now then when I first started. Im very excited!!!

I was going to repair the front cross-member since it was badly bent before i had the car, but in speaking with a co-worker and fellow racecar builder, he recommended i just replace the front subframe to be on the safe side.

I was finally able to get it running. I had to diagnose and trace why the fuel pump was not getting voltage. Bad relay. Replace and moved some wires around and the Gen finally roared to life!!! Very excited about that. I havnt been able to install the radiator yet since it attaches to the core support, which attaches to the front sub-frame. But it should all come together soon. I still need to order some electric fan(s), maybe a water-temp gauge, and construct the rest of the exhaust.
